This is a beautiful and meticulously well maintained 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII Coupe. Long term ownership doesn’t even begin to describe the level of pride that is evident in the level of care of this sport luxury coupe. With just under 80,000 original miles, this beauty has spent more time in a garage than on the road. The clean CARFAX report and the 2-inch binder of all ownership and service records show that this Lincoln has spent the entirety of its life in warm weather in Florida and now in Arizona. The exterior of this Lincoln is finished in its original Charcoal Green color and appears to be well maintained. This Charcoal Green has a metallic appearance to it, with great shine and catches the light very well. We did notice the typical areas where paint may have chipped off from rocks, but those areas have been touched up. The glass is clean all the way around and has a soft tint to it to help keep the interior cool. The trim along the doors is in good shape, but not perfect. The wheels look like they are brand new, and still have a sporty appearance to them. The interior of this Mark VIII has been well preserved. The front leather seats feel like new, but are showing signs of light wear with minor cracking. The rear seats look like they have been barely sat in in the twenty three years that this coupe has been on the road. The carpets are clean and showing little sign of age. All instrumentation is functioning and is free of imperfection, including the driver information center in the center stack. This Lincoln is equipped with a CD changer in the trunk, and the JBL factory upgraded stereo sounds great. The Mark VIII was best known for its 4.6L V8 engine that would go on to be used in the vaunted Mustang Cobra in the latter half of the ’90s. This engine fires right up and feels as hearty as when it was new. The automatic transmission shifts flawlessly, as expected of a luxury performance cruiser. The tires are like new and the suspension and steering help the car glide down the road. Included in the sale are a replacement ashtray and lighter, driver side visor, and a new master window switch for the driver side door. None of these items need to be replaced at the moment, but the owner wanted to be able to replace them in case of near term failure. For details and information, please text, call or email Dan Shaffer at +1.716.704.0291 or email us at . This car is in our Phoenix Showroom.
